This video captures an important part of my life as a lavender farmer and herbal grower, offering both a look back at the farm and a practical demonstration of working with lavender plants. In it, viewers can see one method for propagating lavender and potting up young plants — techniques that are especially helpful for gardeners, herb enthusiasts, and anyone interested in growing healthy lavender successfully. Beyond the gardening instruction, the video reflects the quiet beauty and satisfaction that came from working closely with the land and creating something by hand.

Although I have retired from lavender farming, the creativity that shaped those years continues to inspire my life today. My focus has shifted toward art, photography, gardening, and cooking, all of which still grow from the same appreciation for nature, color, texture, and seasonal living that first drew me to herbs and lavender. The farm may no longer be my daily work, but the creative spirit behind it remains very much alive in the projects and experiences I now share.

I chose to include this video on my new website, leschicherbs.com, because it represents both a valuable piece of practical knowledge and an important part of my personal and creative history. It preserves a chapter of life centered on growing, teaching, and creating, while also connecting naturally to the artistic and creative pursuits that now fill my days. My hope is that visitors not only enjoy learning about lavender propagation, but also feel inspired by the enduring connection between gardening, creativity, and a life shaped by nature.
