Ebey’s Landing Farming with Mount Baker

Hiking up the trail at Ebey’s Landing you can look away from the water and see this view of the fields and Mt. Baker. In this field they had planted cabbage that farmers grow for the seed. Apparently, cabbage seed grown on Whidbey (and the Skagit Valley) is of excellent quality and they export it to Asia. You can see rows of different colors because some of them are filled with female plants and other with male plants. They need each other.
