Lavender comes in many colors. The lavenders in this picture are all Lavendula Angustifolias, and the varieties, for you lavender geeks, from foreground to background are: Purple Bouquet, Hidcote Pink, and Folgate. This was taken early one morning when the sun was just coming up.You can still see this lavender field at what is now called Western Sun Lavender Farm on Whidbey Island.
