The main product of a lavender farm is the Lavender Essential Oil. To get it we had an alembic still made of copper with a long rotating column that held about 90 pounds of lavender. Periodically we cleaned it with vinegar or citric acid. This was some drips of the acid down the side of the still, rotated to go horizonally. I love the colors the copper turns.
